I had decided that since I am fasting and my days are generally responsibility free, to change my sleeping schedule from 12-8am to 3-11am. Theoretically, it makes perfect sense especially because I sleep with a sleeping mask, so it needn't have a difference.
Well, I guess it does. I did this for a almost a week, and while I took to the 12-8 schedule when I started within 2 days, I could not get used to the 3-11 one. It basically resulted with me walking around for week in a near comatose state. Completely sleepy and can barely keep my eyes open. So now, I've quit, went back to my old sleep schedule, and first day doing, completely awake and energized in the morning. No idea why it didn't work.
Here's something else that's weird. I can swear that I can tell whether it's dark or light around me when I'm wearing my sleep mask. And no, I'm not stupid, it doesn't let any light in, I checked by wearing it in the morning and covering over it with a blanket or my hands. No change in the darkness. But I can still "sense" if it's light or dark outside. I'm not sure how, but I'll wake up in the middle of the night or at dawn sometimes, and I just know if the sun has come up yet, or if it's still night. Same with if a lights are on at night. I keep wondering if there's some way that light could be reaching some light sensitive cells in my eyes or something.
