A Call for Recipes

I'm finally getting down to writing a family recipe book. It's looking to be a bit substantial, as I've at least 2 dozen recipes to include already, and I'm already at 5 pages only 4 recipes in. I think it's going to take me a couple of weeks to type out, and a week or so to edit, and maybe add some hand drawings for the trickier items like making kibbeh balls. Give or take a week. All the recipes I'm including are going to have been tried and tasted to make sure they're just right.

So if you have any favorites you'd like to include, please send them to me. They must be a tested and tried recipe though!

Also if you have any requests. Favorite foods that you'd like me to ask grandma or dad for their recipes!!

Desserts are clearly my forte, so I'll be including all the classic mom recipes like, apple, strawberry, and pumpkin pie. Cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, walnut brownies, basic cakes, the featherlight sponge cake, etc.
The good old recipes like kibbeh, mjadra, chicken/meat and rice, ma'loobeh, stuffed grape leaves (I'm getting this one from teta) and zucchini, various stews with rice, soups, salads, etc.
Some newcomers like chili, chicken parmesan, and some other recipes I tried in Tucson and really liked.

Anyway, I'm excited about this!! Hopefully I'll have this finished before my trip to Germany :)
